The Future of Robotics

The future of robotics in the United States is growing. There are many different types of robots. There are humanoid robots, modular robots, educational toy robots, and sports robots. The biggest difference in these robots besides the job is the way that these robots work. Another big factor between these robots is the way that they are made. The modular robots can be made by combining standard building blocks.

The humanoid robot is a robot that has only one already made she is called Lara, as of 2006. This robot has artificially made muscles. Lara is not run on electric motors; she is powered by metal alloy strands that contrast as soon that they are heated by an electric current. There is another humanoid robot that is being worked on as of 2009 it is called Asimo.

The modular robot has many examples. The Utility Fog is an example, the M-Tran, and Self-replicating robots are other examples of the modular robot. The most unique modular robot is the Swarmanoid. The swarmanoid is unique because it combines three different types of robots to get a swarm affect therefore that is why this robot is called the swarmanoid.

The educational toy robot and the sports robots are very self-explanatory. The educational toy is exactly what the name implies it is an educational toy robot.  The sports robot is self-explanatory because it again is what the name implies. There really is nothing very unique or significant about these robot types, except that the name explains what they are and what they do.

The future of robots is booming because of one main fact only. That fact is that the United States as a country is growing in size and in the world of electronics. There is more than just that fact about why the robotics world is booming. The medical field is using more robots. It has been said that in the year 2018 the medical field will be full with robots. It has been said that this robotic stage will be worth 1.53 billion dollars. This prediction is only really pertaining to the surgical field. Eventually the thought is that robots will be putting people out of a lot of jobs because they will perform the operations and surgeries. This webquest will inform good information and may entertain you about facts about the future of robotics in the modern world.
